This very Aussie tale is a perennial favourite with young ones of this age group as our Aussie animals come to life in the true May Gibbs fashion of an earlier decade. I think the winsomeness of the pictures just add a greater richness to this well-treasured tale - a must for every child of this age to experience!

As a kindergarten teacher, this is a fantastic book to read to 25 four and five year olds and keep them interested. It is beatifully illustrated and very easy to read and it is also enjoyable for adults which helps when you have to read it over and over again.

I was lucky to be givin this book when my daughter was born. It is just as good as I remember it when I was a young girl. I hope that one day my daughter can read it to her children. It is definitely a great book for children (especially aussie children) and I hope all children get a chance to experience it :D

A great Australian book for children. It's sweet story line and beautiful pictures makes the book suitable for a diverse age range. Of course the story goes over the very young one's heads, but you can make up fot that with the pictures. I love all books by Mem Fox, and this one is probably one of the top few for me. It's good for kids learning Australian animal names, different food names and also helping your child to explore their imagination. A sweet little story for children. I would recommend.

My son does not like this book, does not hold his concentration

I adored this book when I was younger, it's so beautifully illustrated and it's a really nice Australian tale - it's nice to have something Aussie when everything is getting so americanised.

This book is written by Mem Fox and is a great Australian story to read to your kids. My daughter loves Possum Magic and hearing about the exciting adventures of an invisible possum named Hush and her magical nanna. Its nice to read a book that references Australian places and things like Vegemite and Lamingtons and the adventures the two possums have takes the reader from the Australian bush all around Australia.

I was initially sceptic, but when it arrived I have to say, i changed my mind quickly!! What a wonderful little book! The illustrations are colourful and creative. My one year lod especially love this book. She walks to the shelf and nine out of ten times take t6his book out!! To add to the magic of this little book, she now even asks for "Possy". Yup, from the mouths of babes!!! I can recommend this little book without reservation. Ultimately, a very good buy!

A classic tale that my little ones love to hear. Its a great way to introduce children to the Native animals and culture of Australia.

I bought this book for my grand-daughter who lives in New York - apparently, at 9 months, she pats the possums! Obviously a hit.
