This book is a fun biology lesson that introduces lots of the creatures that lay eggs (birds, reptiles, dinosaurs, amphibians, etc.). The illustrations are magnificent, and the text is simple and rhyming, yet packed with information. It works well for both younger and older children, and each page can be a jumpoff point for heaps of discussions.
