I have this book and Elizabeth Foss' Real Learning and together they cover so much. I love the friendly, 'you can do it' style of writing in this book. It is very empowering when you are feeling overwhelmed.
It is full of information, lots of how tos, as well as background to the Charlotte Mason method.
I have so many little pieces of paper stuck in this book to mark useful pages!

This has got to be my favourite book on Charlotte Mason.
This is really a book sharing from one homeschooling mothers heart to another. It's very much like sitting down with Karen and just having a chat, with her explaining- in easy to understand terms- the different aspects of homeschooling from a Charlotte Mason Approach. If I was going to buy books about CM this would be the first one i would buy. I refer to this one a lot more often then any of the other cm books i own.

I found this book to be very helpful. It is much like one mother sharing her experienses with another. Karen lays it out so it's easy to understand, and not overwhelming, and gives practical ways of implementing Charlotte Masons in your own Home.
