Ok, so this isn't the best of the Roman Mysteries series, but it'd be increadibly hard to make a bad one, even on purpose. This series is just so good. I love it. I only have seven of the books but i desperately want the rest and may soon get another one. I must say that 'The Charioteer Of Delphi' had a lot more twists in it than the other Roman Mystery books. I guess that's why it's so good.
In this book Flavia, Jonathan, Nubia and Lupus go to Rome to try and find a missing racehorse and claim the huge reward. The Charioteer of Delphi has a lot of detailed information in it about chariot racing in ancient Rome. Scopas, a new character, is very interesting and the new mystery is awesome - who is stealing Green racehorses and why? I would recommend this book to anyone interested in either detective stories or ancient Rome.
