This is the resource which all scholars of Roman Catholic teaching require. A masterfully written document it details the official teaching of the Catholic church. Here for the first time since the infamous or famous (depending on your view) Council of Trent is Rome's official position on the gospel.
As a Protestant it was fascinating and illuminating to read a document whose teaching I profoundly disagree with but it was also encouraging to know that what I thought was Rome's position is confirmed here in her official doctrinal statement.

A good, easy to follow book, which is great for a catechumin coming into the catholic church. The cross referencing was simple and precise and links between what the catholic church believes and how this relates to the secular world were clear. A good book for a student of the church, who wants to learn more.
