I am a big Nora Roberts fan because she never dissappoints!
This book was most enjoyable. It is about a small town in the South where everyone knows everyone else. They still have their share of red-neck hicks but no-one expects the rash of violent murders that start picking off young women.
You know from the start that our hero is not the murderer even if he is a suspect but it does keep you guessing about who it might be and the murderer is unexpected.
As always, I like that you really get to know the characters and what makes them tick. It is also a continuing theme that people should be judged on who they are regardless of their family, race and money (or lack thereof).
A strong romantic suspense.

An excellent book - the sort where the killer's name is revealed in the closing pages and you think to yourself 'I never would have guessed that, but it makes PERFECT sense!'. Tucker Longstreet is an amusing leading man, with more under the surface than meets the eye, and Caroline Waverley is an interesting and talented leading lady.
