In the BBC2 programme, "Caribbean Food Made Easy", Levi Roots travels around the UK and the Caribbean and reveals how delicious Caribbean food can be prepared at home with easy-to-prepare, mouth-watering recipes using fresh, healthy and readily-available ingredients. The show, made by BBC Scotland, will consist of four 30-minute prime-time shows from 8-8.30 pm, including 3-4 dishes per programme. The accompanying cookbook includes 100 delicious Caribbean recipes, including all of those that appear on the TV programme.

The Made Easy series has a fantastic track record, with viewing figures from 2-2.5 million. The Made Easy books have experienced outstanding success - Ching-He Huang's Chinese Food Made Easy has sold 96,978 copies since its publication on 1 July 2008 and Anand Anjum's Indian Food Made Easy has sold 91,895 copies since its publication on 3 August 2007. Anand's follow-up book, Anjum's New Indian, has sold 22,214 copies since its publication on 5 September 2008. Recent book sales indicate a healthy interest in Caribbean food. Levi's name is already widely recognised thanks to his Dragon's Den TV appearance and the success of his sauces. Levi's Reggae Reggae Cookbook has sold 18,451 copies since its publication in June 2008.
