Not a beginners book but sn excellent one for those artists seeking methods to bring light and atmosphere to their paintings. Susan is mostly a palette knife painter and her approach to capturing radiant light is summarised in four stages. Thoroughly recommended.

This book is highly RECOMENDED, it teaches you how to add dmension through colour to your work, how to create the right atmosphere, how to balance colours you though couldn't be done , how to achieve specks of brilliance and depth through colour tones. Plus teaches you how to develop your eyesight when trying to capture a scene or object.A few step by step demostrations. And lots of ideas to see things form a very different angle. Through the book they focus in the use of oils and pastels to make the most out of colours schemes. A must in your shelf if you are serious about painting.
