This book is terrific for the choices in alphabets, 100 of them in fact. They are great. The only 'complaint' if that's the right word, is that they are a bit small in print. Great for young eyes I suppose, but a bit of a strain for those with not such good eyesight. Aside from that though, the variety is wonderful. I do feel that this book really is more useful to the person with some calligraphy knowledge. There is a small section at the front which is rather basic, but the book does presume the reader to have some experience. The spiral binding makes it a breeze to lay flat while working. Outcome, if you have some experience in calligraphy and you have relatively good eyesight, then you'll love this book.
