Lindy Smith is the author of three other D&C titles, including Celebrate with a Cake. She runs a successful business making celebration cakes. Lindy is a British Sugarcraft Guild accredited demonstrator and holds workshops to share her techniques and experience. Lindy lives in Buckinghamshire.

I was really disapointed by this book - despite a lovely image on the cover and a tempting title the problem with this book is that ALL the cakes in it are a variation on the 'topsy turvy' design on the front cover - just with different colours and embelishments. Unless you really love this style of cake invest in something a bit more diverse! Leah.

I actually really like this book. There are five design examples for the wonky cake, but there are also ideas for blocks, spheres, domes, cones and round cakes too. I liked the full-colour and step by step illustrations in this book and the many inspiring ideas. It also gives detailed recipes with quantities for many different sized cakes. Very happy with my purchase.

This book like many others gives you the basics at the start but as others have said most of the cakes are the topsy turvey design so if thats what your after this would be great but otherwise I'd get something with a bit more variety in it there are plenty other books out there.

This book is great well set out showing you step by step how to create the cakes, they aren't all topsy turvy cakes. also shows you how to do beading for you cakes.I was very happy with this book.
