While writing in a humorous style, the authour still gets her message(s) across. the main one of which is that there isn't 'one true path' to achieving either emigration of financial stability.
While written for people coming from the UK, a lot of the financial stuff would work for anyone. The insights into life in NZ is packed full of the sort of things I wish I'd known before moving, and the emigration expo's and marketing blurb just don't cover. Plus there's no waffle, it's 200 odd pages chock full of useful info with no padding or filler.
