This and the first book are fantastic reads. The tales of his childhood are almost dickensian, and portrayed charmingly by Stephenson. He comes across as quite complicated but hilariously well adjusted to his celebrity.Stephenson style is easy to read and she has some great insights into Billy and the world in general.
The second book written by Billy Connolly's talent wife Pamela Stevenson tells of a year in the Connolly family, from visits to India to the brillant celebration of Billy turning 60. Pamela tells a complealing story once again about everyones favourite comedian. A wonderfully insightful book that all lovers of BIlly Connolly will love.
I really like Billy Connoly and I loved both the first book his wife Pamel wrote and this one. I just wish she wsn't so totaly, incredibly annoying. The book is so good it stands despite her pretentions and she isn't a bad writer, she just comes across as, well, irritating. Regardless I can still recommend this book as a great insite in Billy's life.
