This book has helped my children through some tough times at school. Even little things like change of routine can affect them. It is a lovey way of showinng children that feelings are ok, but we can also determine how we feel. We can be happy, even when circumstances seem to hard. 'Always look on the bright side' is hard for anyone to do, but we can have control of our actions. A very essential lesson tha is easier learnt young.

I bought this book for my 7 year old son who lost his 13 year old brother suddenly in an accident.

He often gets it out and we sit and read it together when he is feeling sad. By the end of the book he has his a smile back on his face.

It teaches you that it is ok to be sad and grumpy but also shows you how to get yourself out of this mood.

I thoroughly recommend this book.
