A MUST HAVE for all Black Dagger Brotherhood fans! This goes into what was going thru J.R. Ward's head when writing this fantastic series. As well as her tips on how she writes which was a great insight for anyone wanting to write their own book but not sure how to go about it. Theres an endearing story of Zsadist, Bella & their daughter Nalla. Sneak peak at Lover Avenged & some of the most hilarous interviews with the Brother's. For me this book was like the special features section for the series.
This was an unreal read, I love the fact that J R Ward is so rapped up with The Brothers, The way she talks with them and interviews them its just such a wonderfull take on the characters. The Brothers are so real to me and Iam so glad she feels like she does, I hope the Black Dagger Brothers keep visiting her for many years to come.
This is the ultimate must have for all the Black Dagger Brotherhood fans out there!! Not only does it have Bella and Zadist's short story (which is a total treat for those of us that often wonder what happens after the story finishes), but it also has the brothers profiles, stats and interviews. This really brings the first six books together, filled with humour and also gives you a look back through the authors favourite parts and what she was thinking when she was writing. A great read and another book I'm adding to my collection!!
really good read-but be warned- if you havent yet finished the brotherhood series ,it does contain some spoilers.Excellent resource guide for all hard-core BDB fans.
I do not ususally read these type of books much prefering to enjoy the series but I really wanted to read the short story about Nala's birth which was terrific. What I didn't anticipate was how Ward continues to have the characters come to life by interviews with them. I just loved it Ward really has you seeing that the BDB is really out there and existing as we speak
A bit disappointed an OK read but a little too much re working of what is already in existing books and the interviewing and forum board came across as self indulgent. Not a keeper for me.
I really enjoyed reading this and all BDB fans will be the same I'm sure. Its worth getting the book solely for Father Mine (Zsadist and Bella's novella) but there is a lot more with JR's thoughts about her books and a section on the forum board where we get a little peak at Phury and Cormia's mating ceremony which I thought was really sweet. Only disappointment was that there were no stats on Tohr...I would have liked to read a bit about him.
