Very good book for people doing course in Children Services. I would recomend it. Very good source of information, you don't have to look for info on any subject all over internet or any other book. Everything is in the book.

Found the book very helpful and comprehensive. It provides information relevent to the Children's Services Certificate 111 and Diploma Course. I have used this book in conjunction with the Frameworks for learning and development although you could just get by with the Birth to Big School.

This is a good book if you are completing your child care certificates. it includes current information which includes some case studies to help with understanding what is meant by the different explanations. It is easy to find information through both the index and the chapter selection page. It is useful when used with The Big Picture also by the same author.
