I thought this book was great. It was a really good insite into Mr Masons life.
A very interesting read i couldn't put it down.

excellent read.. I got this book after his australian concert 2009 and it expressed in detail what he and his band went through... 10/10

Interesting read delving into the life of Marilyn Manson

This is a really absorbing, intellectual and emotional read. There are some sad and shocking moments, and the book takes you into a different world for the duration, Manson's unique world. I was a mild Manson fan before I read it, now I have the upmost respect for him and his work.

Love Marilyn Manson, not a massive fan of the book. I find him very intriguing but this book was a bit ho-hum. Very easy read and I couldn't put it down but all the while I was hoping/ waiting for more. Can't quite pin point it but yeah, I hope this makes sense.

Great read, very amusing and disturbing! Highly recommended to all those Heavy Metal fans out there.

This book is soo good!! I'm not a big reader, but when i started reading this.. I could not put it down. I couldn't believe it!! After reading this book it is very understandable why he is a bit -err- different.

The long Hard Road Out of Hell explores into his childhood and the formation of his band. I really enjoyed hearing what he had to say, i found it very interesting. I would definatly reccomend this book to any Marilyn Manson fan. You don't have to be a Marilyn Manson fan to enjoy this book though, everyone knows him but always critize him. I wish those people would read this first.

This is the first book I had read that was written or co-written by Neil Strauss, and it got me hooked. This book is a very interesting read about the life of a very unique and unusual man. Many parts of it are somewhat disturbing, but overall it is a great read which you cannot put down. Several of my friends have read it after me and discovered the same thing

Manson is a sicko, and having read the autobiography I now know why. Brought up in an oppressively religious envirioment, he soon decides religion (orthodox religion anyway) is not for him, and starts down the road to satanism, nihilism and lots of other isms.

Oddly, Manson found his grandfather's sex toys and pornography in the basement and was revolted by them. Yet his later life was was dominated by sex, and the more deviant the better.

I'm not really a huge fan of his music, but found this book an incredible read. Shocking, titillating, disgusting; all at the same time. You;ve gotta have it.

this is one of the best books i have ever read, as others have said it covers manson’s life from childhood right through to just after the release of his second album. This books discusses his struggles with drugs alcohol and many other elements thst held him back in his early career
