A fabulous ice cream book - don't let its size deceive you. It comes with great recipes and some handy hints throughout. This book also provides the background for some of the flavours, the history and some tips as well. I also just love the illustrations throughout the book - very eye catching... it may just be the kind of book you'd give to a young relative if they're into cooking, especially desserts. One thing though: most of the recipes (based on a quick flip through) seem more suited for an ice cream machine, so it may be a challenge to make some of their chunky ice cream if you usually just freeze your ingredients in a tupperware in the fridge instead of churning them in an ice cream maker.
