I would highly recommend this book. It is a wonderful mixture of romance, suspense and mystery. The main man is the required mix of masculinity and vulnerability and the heroine is stanch and with a mind of her own. It is certainly a lot more substancial than your usual frothy historical romance. I keep dithering whether to give it 4 or 5 stars so will give it 5 stars to be on the generous side.
