This is a wonderful insight into the haute couture fashion houses as they existed in the 70s. It shows the fraught relationship that Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld had not only with each other but with their peers, the press and their detractors. It’s a well told story that so easily transports you to the era.
