This is a great book. it is a joy to find someone speaking sensible words about the young horse. I was classically trained, but I prefer to adopt some principles of natural horsemanship also. Apart from the obvious, it is quite clear that there is not too much tension between the classical and the natural, when one is working from an example of Klimke's quality. Basically, when the intention is to do no harm , the best practitioners of all schools can be harmonised. Klimke is very clear, precise and practical in all matters. The text is concise and easily comprehended. Even if you are into natural horsemanship, you shouldn't go past this. Klimke's knowledge and wisdom would be a valuable addition to your harmonisation of classical and natural. If you are all classical, then this is even better. This man is the voice of reason. Take what you want from it.
