A great book full of wonderful ideas for meals on the go, or just snacks for your home. I would recommend this book if you are an avid hiker, bushwalker or just want to make quick, healthy meals for your family when on the go.

I bought this book after I purchased a food dehydrator and needed some inspiration for lunches for a seven day hike in the Nelson Lakes National Park.
I found good information about drying fruit and vegetables and recipes for dried hummus, tuna flakes and biscuits.
While written for the American scene, the recipes are easily adapted.
