About the Author

Michael Ross is an Aberdonian by birth and a retired primary school teacher from Peterhead. He has had interesting experiences in various spheres including being a local councillor for a number of years; an elected member of the General Teaching Council of Scotland and a member of various committees relevant to Parkinson's Disease. But his abiding passion is his many experiences of astral projectionA" or out of body phenomena. Since experiencing his first astral projection at the age of 17 he has had many hundreds of out of body trips of widely diverse quality and meaningfulness. Some have been fairly mundane short projections in his bedroom to ecstatic meetings with the dead in the afterlife realms. His researches into this unique and fascinating psychic ability have ranged from his experience of Spiritualist mediums in Aberdeen and elsewhere. His endeavours in investigating the distinction between the body and mind developed while doing a philosophy degree at Aberdeen University. His participation all over the world in various workshops and training with organizations and famous projectors has engendered a desire to prove that the phenomena is real and can help provide an understanding of mankind's destiny and purpose.
