Reviews
–
This book features the customary and cursory dig at the locals as well as an excellent plot-line and some very witty dialogue. The usual puns and other forms of droll humour are of course included as well as laugh-out-loud comedy. This is a classic example of an Asterix comic and whilst not one of MY favourite it is nevertheless an excellent peice of writing. Reccommended.
Asterix and Obelix together on another adventure, Magic Potion, Bashing Romans, Wild Boar- this is a classic Asterix novel that follows along perfectly in the tradition. Featring the same wit, humour and vivacity as all of Rene Gosciny and Albert Uderzos previous books, this new tale featuring the intrepid little Gaulish Warrior, his friend and tiny Dogmatix is amusement at its best. Reccomended.
