This is around the ninth book in the "Honor Harrington" series, and if you are still hanging in there, it is more of the same. The series is getting a little tired by this episode, and this book adds little of interest to the "Honor Harrington" universe. This book begins with Honor's escape from a prison planet, and her return to Manticore and Grayson. The major plot points concern the scheming among the leadership of the Peoples Republic of Haven, which is following its French Revolution style story arc, in a predictable way. After the genuine excitement of Honor's success in seizing control of Haven's prison planet in the previous novel ("Echoes of Honor"), this novel is something of a letdown. Few space battles, and tedious and unconvincing politics makes this book one that can be skipped.
