This is an excellent reference book for both beginner and experienced artists. It contains a tremendous variety of options and suggestions for a wide range of mediums. Highly recommended.

I bought this book a few years ago and I still use it a lot. It is helpful if you want to brainstorm ideas to put on paper or canvas or any other support. All the demonstrations explained in this book are written in a clear manner. I never knew that pastel is so versatile.

For painters who have hit a 'creative block' this book has many inspiring ideas to get you painting again. No more intimidating white canvas!! Covering all mediums, with detailed explanations and illustrations, Arteffects is one of those books that belongs next to the easel, not in the bookcase.
