A must for any artist; invaluable. The breakdown of properties and graphs of lightfastness is the kind of info you don't find anywhere else. This book contains information that is just not taught at schools, perhaps only touched on. The alchemy of paint is truthfully and extensively explained.

The bible for painters and flat media artists. Well worth having in your collection if you're serious about painting, particularly in oils. Use of imperial measurements in recipes (for varnishes etc) are a minor inconvenience. Highly recommended.
