This beautiful book provides wonderful insights into methods of botanical art. I love looking at the paintings and hope, after much practice, to be able to be half as good as those who contributed to this book.
I first saw the book in Hawaii, but someone had cut pages out of the book! As it was the only copy in the store, I had to wait till I came home to get a perfect copy for myself.
I'd recommend this to anyone with an interest in this subject.

This book is an really good book for the artist interested in botanical painting. The basics of paper, colour, paint and pencil are covered very well. There are many examples of work in a wide variety of media from artists all over the world. Advice ranges from where to buy cheap art materials on-line to basic plant morphology. It is a text-book for a correspondance course run by the Society of Botanical Artists. I recommend it highly.
