As an ophthalmic clinical pharmacist, I have found this book to be an excellent resource in describing common anterior eye diseases and their management. It is fantastic resource with succinct information for use as a quick reference and “on-the-go”. I find myself reaching for this book frequently and believe it reflects Australian practice very accurately. I have found no other ophthalmic text to be as useful in the Australian practice and feel it complements Wills Eye Manual very well. Although I find this text helpful in Australia, it is important to note that this book is aimed at an international audience and as a result, mentions numerous medications that are not always available in Australia. Although this does not cause me any concerns, practitioners need to be aware that medications they may be prescribing may not be available in their country and should check with their pharmacist if they are unfamiliar with the medication.
