I have 2 copies of this book. One for home and One for my office where I do readings for people. This book is great for beginners/ children and adults alike. Comprehensive spiritual information about each animal, including birds and reptiles. Shamanism information second only to "A walk on the red road" By Keelauna Richard Two Bears.
How to get in touch with your totems and understanding the messages from animals who cross your path. This book is a mush in any spiritual Library

This is one of the most comprehensive books on totems that I've ever read. I rely on it completely, and I'm always grabbing it from my bookshelf to look something up again. It has a surprisingly large and varied amount of information on each animal, especially the inner journey that the animal represents, as opposed to just talking about the animals physical characteristics (although he does make mention of these too, but in the context of how they apply to the powers of that particular creature). It's quite a large book, but well worth finding the space for in your bookcase. It lists animals in their categories, such as 'reptiles', 'birds', 'marine', etc and explains also the common properties of all the animals in that particular group. Highly recomended!
