"First Night" was supposed to be a spin-off mini-series from the Angel: After the Fall storyline. The "First Night" stories are play out as flashbacks told by telepathic fish Betta George. This all takes place during the battle in Angel: ATF #5. Spike, Wesley, Connor, Kate, Lorne, Gwen, Civilians and Gunn are given spotlight here. It touches base on what happened to these characters the night LA was sent to a hell dimension. Yes, you do get to see what happened in alley battle at the end of Not Fade Away. You'll get your answers on how Angel "slayed" the dragon. What happened to Gunn and what was happening to certain characters in and around the time Team Angel were defeated. Also there are extras on First Night stories that never made the cut.
