" Am I My Body's Keeper is motivating and inspiring because it is a
heartfelt call for action. Quite literally. Unlike other authors,
Kaufman gives a range of tools and alternative strategies for
dieting, exercise and mindset to achieve health and fitness goals
that are realistic and far-reaching, and he encourages even minor
changes in lifestyle that can have a major affect. It's not an all
or nothing proposition and there are many factors involved. He also
avers that it's never too late to reverse aging and ill health."

"A superb piece of research and writing. Although [Kaufman] is not
a scientist or physician, he has somehow managed to find and
understand large numbers of authoritative medical studies proving
the benefits of healthful lifestyles, combining them with
quotations from the Torah, Talmud, the works of Maimonides (the
Rambam) and other Jewish scholars to back them up. He also gives
advice from his research and his own life experience on how to lose
weight, exercise and become and stay healthier at any age." Judy
Siegel-Itzkovich , Jerusalem Post
"The book is easy to read. It focuses on the Jewish view toward
taking care of our bodies, but the information and ideas in the
book are valuable for people of all religions." Dr. Israel Drazin,
