I bought this book after overhearing a conversation between my daughter and her dealer. She owed him money and was trying to negotiate how she was going to pay it and still score more crack for the weekend. While we knew she was a chronic marijuana user we didn't know she had stepped up to crack and P. It was the most terrifying thing I have ever heard and I was completely bewildered and panicked. I needed information on how to help - me and my daughter. This book helped me because it focused on me, and I have since learned I can't be much help to my daughter if I am a wreck. I would recommend it to any parents or friends concerned about a loved ones drug use.
