2000 colours is a lot! This book has a few acrylic watercolour techniques in it too at the end of each colour segment. Very comprehensive, it has a section on how to use the book, what the symbols mean in the colour charts and uses a basic palette of 12 colours for the book. It also has an "Equivalent Colours" chart at the back. Very useful book in my collection.

This is creating colours from maybe a limited palette and while it is small it is 64 pages with alsorts of combinations and it is spiral bound so it lies nice and flat. It covers basic palettes, colour wheel and how to use special charts, complementry colours and mediums. Each colour is shown and what to mix it with and what it should produce. It covers both acrylic and watercolour, also a small section on glazing and what it does. A must in ones own library and a wonderful reference.
