the one thing that always bugs me about A Midsummer Nights Dream is that in the end, while the spell on lysander (causing him to falsely fall in love with helena) is removed but the one on demetrius is left on, so he remained in love with helena. this seems wrong some how, since helena loves demetrius truely, but the love that demetrius gives to her will not be 'real' in a sense. oh well tis a comedy, and should be taken lightly

ever since seeing the movie version starring the famous holly wood actors christian bale, calista flockhart, michelle pfiffer and rupert everett, i can imagine the play so much more clearer in my head now when i read it. shakespeare used lot of descriptive words to describe the scene as many people in the time when he wrote them could not enjoy the visuals we are used to this day. excellent story, read it!
