Has the definitive pilot guide to the Whitsunday Islands and nearby ports this is simply a must have book for anyone contemplating sailing this area or simply wanting to know more. It is worth noting the book as much more information than a simple pilt guide with informative and neccesary details on this area, highly recommended

I purchased this to take on a bare boat holiday on the Whitsunday. It arrived the day before we left - will have to plan a little further ahead next time, but the delivery was at the longer end of that quoted. It was the latest full edition, brand new and a bargain price. The book was exactly as described, a detailed review of anchorages for yachts in the Whitsunday group. I would take issue with the description of Hook Island Resort - it has run down since last reviewed I would think, but otherwise it was accurate and exactly what we needed.

Excellent book with detailed and up to date information on boating in the Whitsundays and the nearby sections of the Great Barrier Reef. I also found the information on snorkeling and scuba diving to be very helpful. Now my next Whitsundays holiday will be a much better one. Highly recommended.
