This is a very enthralling read. Simon finally meets his true love with the mysterious Lynette. At first, he is unaware that Lysette is her long-lost twin sister but when the truth comes out, he is thrust into a world filled with danger, mystery and intrigue. Lots of suspense, intensity and scorching love scenes are all here while Simon and Lynette team up to discover the scheming villain who is out to destroy lives. Another great book from this talented author.

This is the follow up to 'a passion for him' Whilst you did not need to have read that book, it does introduce some of the main characters of 'don't tempt me'. This is the story of Simon Quinn, who is a British spy caught up dangerous traps and schemes in Paris, in the late 1700s. He cannot understand his heated attraction to Lysette, an cold hearted French spy who kills as mercilessly as any man, when he mets her at a ball. But what he does not know is that the woman he is rapidly falling in love with is her twin sister, Lynette. Meanwhile, Lysette is a damaged woman who is at the mercy of a manipulating spy master, fighting for her life. But she could find salvation with Edward James as long as she is not ordered to kill him.
I was enthralled by the first half or two thirds of this book but then it deteriorated into a very average read. The action and spy story was interesting but little or no development of the two romances. The author concentrated on Lynette who was very uninteresting compared to her sister. And then, we never really find out what happens between Lysette and Edward. On the whole, a disappointment and certainly not worth the expense of buying new.
